Fall 2016 / Spring 2017 Endo Series Announced

ENDOCRINOLOGY CURRICULUM

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to participate in an extraordinary learning opportunity as EchoHawaii resumes its Endo/Diabetes series. Starting September 22, each Thursday from 12 to 1:30 you can earn free CME credits while learning from a group of experts about practical topics in diabetes and endocrinology.

For your patients with complex endocrine problems, you can go through the usual referral process of finding a specialist who participates with their insurance and waiting for the next available appointment, maybe requiring travel, OR you can present that patient at the next Thursdays Endo/Diabetes tele-clinc and get immediate mentorship and guidance about the best next steps.

Please see the schedule of topics and list of the talented experts with whom you and your colleagues will interact. See echohawaii.org for more about this exciting program. Feel free to share this with others, especially those on the front lines of primary care in rural and under-served areas of Hawai`i.

Remember, you can join from wherever you are, Thursdays from 12 to 1:30!

Aloha,
Dan

Endo Sessions to Date

The endocrinology sessions are going well with a lot of lively discussion. The hub expert team is articulate and knowledgeable. The last session, we were fortunate to have been joined by 2 spoke participants, renowned Honolulu endocrinologists Dr. Schroffner and Dr. Mau, who added considerably to the discussions.
